This career pathway helps students prepare for career and college success through high skill and high tech areas through developing innovative solutions to enhance their communities. Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology and Transportation Pathway students work with raw materials and equipment. Students might design a new product, create a prototype, or build following existing plans. Students in this pathway consider the environment and learn about being good stewards of resources available.
This pathway might be a great fit for you if you enjoy the challenge of applying your knowledge through hands-on applications. Some of the pathways that students can explore in this pathway include Architecture, Construction, Transportation, Production, Landscaping, Agribusiness, and others.

Manufacturing is the production of goods through the use of labor, machines, tools, and chemical or biological processing or formulation. It is the essence of secondary sector of the economy.
Engineering is the use of scientific principles to design and build machines, structures, and other items, including bridges, tunnels, roads, vehicles, and buildings.
The synergy between Manufacturing and Engineering abounds! All things are designed (engineered) and made (manufactured.) If you enjoy making things work or considering how something could be done better/faster/cheaper, this field is for you!
The combination of skills gained through this training is highly transferable to jobs in many industry sectors.

The Natural Resources Pathway is a program designed to provide students with knowledge and skills regarding the management of Earth’s natural resources. Students will focus on sustainability and stewardship of ecosystems. Graduating students will be prepared to enter the natural resources management workplace or continue their education in natural resources management at postsecondary educational institutions.
