At Central Minnesota Adult Basic Education (ABE) we help adults to become fully participating, self-sufficient members of our society. ABE is a regional partnership between 31 school districts, including St. Cloud Area School District 742, the fiscal agent. We work with learners to improve basic reading, writing or math skills, earn a GED or high school diploma, improve English language skills (ESL), or learn more about parenting. Support services are also available to help learners participate in classes and programs. Educational opportunities are provided at numerous learning sites across the consortium (see map below) during day and evening hours, and we also offer online opportunities. All adults, 17 or over, who are not currently enrolled in a regular school program are welcome to enroll in our programs.
