At Central Minnesota Adult Basic Education (ABE) we help adults to become fully participating, self-sufficient members of our society. Central MN ABE is a regional partnership between 31 school districts, of which St. Cloud Area School District 742 is the fiscal host. Adult learners in these communities are served at numerous learning sites during daytime and evening class hours throughout the year. Central Minnesota ABE welcomes all adults, 17 or over, who are not currently enrolled in a regular school program.
If you or someone you know is looking to improve basic reading, writing or math skills, earn a GED diploma or finish their high school credits, or improve English language skills (ESL) we can help. We offer a flexible schedule of classes designed to fit the lives of busy adults.Â
Our experienced and talented staff of professionals include licensed teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, and volunteer tutors. We are here to help you achieve your goals. If you are at least 17 years of age and are not currently enrolled in a regular school program, please call us at 320-370-8220, or e-mail us at abe@isd742.org. The Central MN Adult Basic Education main office is located in Quarryview Education Center, 800 S. Seventh St., Waite Park, MN 56387.
