Meet Your Social Worker
Hello! My Name is Amy Becker, and I am the school social worker for Early Childhood-Second Grade at the Fairmont Elementary School. I grew up in St. Clair, MN. After I graduated from high school, I attended Bethany Lutheran College where I earned an Associate of Arts Degree. Then, I attended Minnesota State University, Mankato and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work. In 2017, I obtained my Master's Degree in Professional School Counseling.
My husband and I moved to Fairmont in 2002. We have three children who attend school at Fairmont Area Schools. I have been working at Fairmont Elementary since 2013. I am committed to working with students and families to help support their academic, personal, and social needs so each student may reach their full potential.

Hello! Welcome to our school social worker website! My name is Carly Sonnek and I am the school social worker for the 3rd-6th grade at Fairmont Elementary School. This is my 5th year with Fairmont Elementary. I have been working in the social work field, including schools since 1998. I grew up in Windom MN. I attended St. Cloud State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social work.
I live south of Easton, MN and have 3 children. My husband and I also own the Country Butcher Shop. I love being a part of the Fairmont Elementary School "family". I have a passion for working with children and families and am committed to doing all that I can to help students feel supported and empowered. My goal would be for all students to have a positive experience her at school both academically and socially.
