Apraxia Characteristics Checklist
Advantages: Gives tons of information; appendix has examples of how to interpret/write up info. Administration time 25-35 min, interpretation time 15-20 min
Disadvantages: Requires a lot of preparation. Interpretation might take longer than expected if you aren’t familiar with apraxia characteristics. No “score” - this is more a descriptive test that identifies characteristics/behaviors of a child who demonstrates signs of apraxia. Old test (1997).
Recommendation: Video record assessment to help with analysis of behaviors, characteristics.
