This course has many assignments that are required to be handed in. It is extremely important that you hand in your assignments by the correct date and time. Assignments must be handed in by the due date and assignments that are late will not be accepted unless an extension has been granted[1]. Assignments must be handed in by 8:30am (note: this is for all subject areas). Any assignment can be handed in prior to its due date. Assignments are not to be handed in to your teacher. There is a two step process for handing in assignments:
1. Turn in soft copy of assignment on Google Classroom as managed by your teacher
2. Submit hard copy of assignment by leaving in the Mathematics Assignment Dropbox (outside of D4 as pictured on left)
Because your assignments will be handed into one box they will be sorted in the mathematics department so it is very important that you make sure that your name and teacher’s three-letter code is clearly written on the cover sheet of your assignment. In addition, you must sign the authenticity agreement and include that with your assignment. There are no reassessments in this course so all grades are final.
[1] Due to the flexibility of assignment-based assessments, extensions are rarely approved except for extreme circumstances which would be referred to your dean. If you are away from school for legitimate reasons (medical and school-based trips) and unable to submit the hard copy you must submit your soft copy via google classroom and then submit your hard copy as soon as possible.
