About Mrs. Steman

I am Ms. Vaughan! I am so excited for another year teaching first grade!

A little bit about me:

I grew up going to school in the Osseo School District, and I still live in Maple Grove. I love this community. It is my dream come true to be teaching in this school district! I attended college at The University of St. Thomas where I have a degree in Elementary Education and STEM Education. Go Tommies! I also completed my Masters degree in education with a focus in educational technology at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.

This will be my eighth year teaching. I have taught 3rd grade at Edinbrook Elementary, 1st grade at Oak View Elementary, and 1st grade at Fernbrook!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy yoga, biking, reading, trying new restaurants and activities, spending time with friends and family, and baking!

I LOVE teaching 1st grade! Students make such tremendous growth both socially and academically!! It's amazing. This is truly going to be a fantastic school year, and I am looking forward to meeting another group of dedicated, supportive families.
