Rice Lake Library Media Center
We provide services for approximately 800 students and staff.
Our students can visit as often as they like and our Library Media Specialist schedules learning activities when they fit into classroom curriculum.
Book Checkout
Materials are checked out for two week periods and can be renewed when needed.
Overdue/Late Materials
Our students receive overdue material notices via email. A paper notice will be sent home at the beginning of each month starting in October.
Fine Policy (Lost/Damaged Books)
If an item is damaged or lost, please contact the media center staff. We will assess the damage and if a replacement fine is needed, we will send a note home. We collect these fines to replace books with library bound copies which hold up much better than items purchased at local retailers. If you find your lost book after having paid for it, we will refund your money, as long as the item hasn't been reordered.
