Students need to register on-line at www.actstudent.org
Students receiving free/reduced lunch can have their test fees waived TWICE by bringing a copy of the letter they received from Food Service to the CRC to receive a waiver. Fee waivers do not include late fees.
The state of MN is footing the bill of $67 for each student. Because it is a timed test you need to practice as much as you can so your score reflects your ability. The format is different than you have seen before as well. Now is the time to start practicing and setting time aside each week to do this. The key is to practice with a timer with the goal of being able to read every question so you do not have to guess on any questions. Please come to the CCRC to obtain a copy of a practice booklet and you can check out an ACT practice book as well. If you prefer using the computer to access practice ACT tests, you can go to the MNCIS website that the district pays for.

After you log in with this user name and password go up and set up your own MNCIS (upper right hand corner). Then go back in using your credentials that you just set up and under Portfolio you have access to College Entrance tests as well as other tests such as AP tests. Here you can take three practice ACT tests for free. It will time you and access you and then you can see which answers you answered incorrectly and then study that topic. THE KEY IS PRACTICE!
