Hello! My name is Jessica Kasper and I am one of the kindergarten teachers here at Weaver Lake School. We have planned a wonderful adventure this school year that is exciting and academically motivating. This year your child will begin their own academic adventure, where the world around them comes to life through hands on learning, observation and inquiry. As teachers, our main goal is to support our students as they grow and learn as readers, writers, scientists, engineers and mathematicians while integrating technology through out their learning day. Our adventure into Kindergarten learning will be an awesome and fun-filled journey.

Donation Apple Basket
Outside our classroom is a basket full of paper apples. these are items that you can donate to our classroom if you can. some of these item include:
- smarties candy
- starburst
- clear sheet protectors
- gift cards to craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby
- games like Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders
This trimester we will study our five senses, nursery rhymes, the monarch caterpillars and butterflies, trees, fall, night time, staying healthy, families, Thanksgiving and so much more!
In December we will take a journey around the world learning about children and their country/culture. We will learn facts about their country, hear stories from their country, learn about their traditions and holidays and compare/contrast all of this to our own. It will be a wonderful adventure!
