Create a Google Drawing that shows off your new skills! In this assignment, you are going to create a Coat of Arms.
In the Middle Ages, individuals were identified by their Coat of Arms. As they were used on the battlefield to identify a person’s friends and foes, they were often in the shape of a shield. The symbols used on coats of arms were chosen carefully to represent an individual or an entire family. The study of the symbols, colors and patterns used in Coats of Arms is known as heraldry.
Design your own Coat of Arms: Create your own COAT of ARMS based on your hobbies, personality, character and family. Like the example of the image attached, your sheild will include four sections and a banner (found in the callout section of shapes) with a personal motto. A motto is a sentence, phrase, or word that describes you as a person or how you like to live by. For example - "With great power, comes great responsibility." -Ben Parker (Spider-Man's uncle). The four sections are:
1. My Goals/Dreams - what are your dreams?
2. My Favorites- what are some of your favorite things?
3. Who has Inspired Me - who do you look up to?
4. About Me - Include information about yourslef.
You can use pictures, words or both in each section. Make sure you put your name somewhere on your drawing.
When done, sumbit on Schoology.
TIP: Use the teacher example and coat of arms template links as references. Recreate the shield with shapes. DO NOT just add images and words to the picture. Delete the links before submitting.
