Hello 279Online families! We are eager to help you with all of your registration-related questions for the 2023-2024 school year. This page will provide you with all of the important information you need to know for your scholar to complete the registration process. Below you will find the registration dates and the steps scholars will take to register for their 2023-2024 courses. At the bottom of this page, you will also find the registration materials that will be used to gather useful information for this process.
Registration Timeline
January 19th & 20th: Students Receive Registration Materials
January 23rd - 27th: Students Complete Course Card in Advisory
January 30th - February 3rd: Students Submit Course Selections into StudentVue in Advisory
January 31st: Registration Conferences 4:00-7:00 PM at Osseo Area Learning Center
Steps to Complete Registration for the 2023-2024 school year:
STEP 1: Review registration materials. Please review the registration materials that will be given to students in their advisory class. These online materials will help you and your student make informed decisions about the course selections. The materials include:

STEP 2: Watch registration videos. Students will be provided with links to registration videos on January 23rd that will give detailed course information and walk students through the steps they need to take to fill out the registration course card. On January 30th, students will then watch another video in their advisory that will explain how they enter their course selections into StudentVue.
STEP 3: Attend 279Online Community Celebration & Registration Conferences to celebrate our scholars, and for additional support and information. We would like to welcome you to Osseo Area Learning Center (7300 Boone Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55428) on January 31st for our in-person 279Online Community Celebration & Registration Conferences. Activities and events include:
Registration Support from 279Online staff to answer registration questions, provide individualized support in registering for classes, and provide you with specific information about our course offerings for next school year.
Information sessions will include topics such as What to Expect in High School, Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO), Advanced Placement Course Offerings, and Supporting Scholar Success at Home.
Community Celebration! We will also be celebrating all the hard work of our scholars up to this point with food and community events such as arts and crafts, bingo, a photo booth, and 279Online prizes.
We hope to see you there to celebrate our 279Online community! This event is optional but we strongly encourage you to attend and support our scholars and community.
