Reading at home will make a huge difference in your student's literacy success! While your student may not be able to read independently YET, watching and listening to you read to them is just as important for them to develop strong reading skills.

Here are some ways for you to engage your student in literacy:

- Read picture books or chapter books to them

- Have your student identify letters/words on pages as you read

- Watch read aloud videos on YouTube (check below!)

- Ask your student about letters and words they see in the store, on food boxes, and more
