Schedules

Band Rehearsals will begin the second week in October once we have been able to show our band members how to safely put their instrument together, get sound, and read their very first few notes!:)

Deerwood Full Band Rehearses:

  Tuesdays @2:00-3:10 pm in the DW Gym.

Glacier Hills Full Band Rehearses:

  Wednesdays @8:00-9:15 am in the GH Gym.

Watch for the exact Full Band Rehearsal start date to be sent home in the Fall of 2023.

Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 1:00 and 7:00 pm

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 1:00 and 7:00 pm

Glacier Hills Band Concerts for 2024-25:

Monday, January 27, 2025 at 9:45 am & 7:00 pm

Monday, April 28, 2025 at 9:45 am and 7:00 pm

Students will have the opportunity to attend small group lessons on a weekly basis.  Along with lesson books, students will find the slideshows with uploaded music in our Schoology Band Class very helpful. 

Timeline

• March 2024: Students enrolled last spring met with their child’s band teacher to try and choose an instrument.

• April 2024: Families ordered chosen instrument by this date due to supply chain issues to ensure delivery by September.

• Aug. 28-29 & September 3 - 5: New students may meet and pick an instrument with the 5th grade band teacher during assessments or school day.

• New Band Students this Fall: Order instrument TODAY, and the music stores will do their best to get your instrument here for lessons. Still attend your lesson even if its not here quite on time. We’ll make it work.:)

• September 9: Small Group Band Lessons begin. Lesson Schedule will be sent home September 6. 

• October: Full Band Rehearsals begin the second week of October. Schedules will be sent out early in the fall.

• Fall 2024: Let all the "fun", new instrument sounds begin!
