10 Things to do at the Beginning of the Year
1. Make a Personalized Lockscreen - Make a personalized lockscreen so you can tell the different iPads apart and it will have the district phone number if it should become lost or stolen.
2. Make an icon of your most accessed website - Make a homescreen icon of the website you are using the most (ex. Google Site, Moodle page, etc.).
3. Make a shortcut for your email address - Make a shortcut for their Collab email address so they don't have to type it in every time.
4. Back up Notability files to Collab - Set up so all of your files link to a folder in Collab. Click here to access the directions.
5. Utilize Google Calendar as a Planner - You can use the Google Calendar as a planner. It connects to your Google Classroom classes. Click here to learn more.
6. Connect Explain Everything to Google Drive - Here is a screenshot with directions of how to connect Explain Everything to Google Drive.
7. Download and Log into Padlet - Log into Padlet using you Collab account. Follow the directions below. This will allow you to more easily edit your posts on Padlet.
8. Log into Google Classroom, Drive, Docs, Slides, and/or Sheets and review Google Basics - I would begin with Drive and then sign into the other apps.
