Hello there!

Hi there! So happy to welcome you to kindergarten at Calder Road Elementary! My name is Shelley Shaw and teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I have taught early childhood education for 14 years and worked in higher education before that. I can’t imagine a career more rewarding than educating children and instilling a love of learning in them.

I’ve been married for 25 years and am a proud Mama to two children, three dogs, a cat, and a hamster. Some of my interests include watching the Astros play, cooking, reading, interior design, and organizing.
