Dickinson ISD 2018-2019 Annual Report

Section I. Texas Academic Performance Reports [TAPR] 2018-2019

Dickinson ISD received an overall accountability rating of B (85). Two campuses earned an A, six campuses earned a B, five campuses earned a C, and one campus earned a D. Eight campuses earned a total of 22 Distinction Designations.

Section II. PEIMS Financial Standard Reports (2017-2018 Financial Actual Reports)

Dickinson ISD achieved a perfect score of 100 and the highest rating of “A = Superior” on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas [FIRST].

Section III. District Accreditation Status 2018-2019

Dickinson ISD received the highest accreditation status of Accredited.

Section IV. Campus Performance Objectives 2018-2019

Each regular campus has a Campus Improvement Plan with Performance Objectives.

Section V. Report on Violent or Criminal Incidents 2018-2019

Dickinson ISD had an incident rate of 0.036%.

Section VI. Student Performance in Postsecondary Institutions (2016-2017 Graduates)

Of the Class of 2017, 52.8% were enrolled in a Texas Institute of Higher Education in 2017-2018.

This will assist in understanding the different indicators of the TAPR and how they were calculated.
