Library Mission Statement: The Media Coordinator will enhance curriculum, a love of learning, and access to diverse resources through use of collaboration, support, and technology to encourage, foster, and empower all students and teachers through learning.
The goals of the media coordinator are;
To teach students/staff to access, evaluate, and use information.
To maintain a diverse collection of media that supports the learning needs of the school.
To provide assistance in locating and using instructional materials.
To promote and support differentiated instruction.
To provide planned instructional materials that will stimulate growth in factual knowledge and literary appreciation.
Partner with teachers and students to promote engagement and instructional support.
Promote reading and literacy of both teachers and staff.
Provide professional development on research models and inquiry based learning.
Special Library Rules
Take care of all library media center materials.
Leave food and drink outside the library media center.
Notify a staff member if an item is broken or not working correctly.
Sign in on the Google Form before entering. Have a pass during class time.

Student Checkout:
Materials are due back in two weeks to exchange, or may be renewed for an additional week as long as no has requested the title. Special permission for more materials may be granted when necessary for an assignment. Fees will be charged for unreturned materials.
Printing:
Students will be able to print NON copyrighted material with teacher approval. No color printing available.
Requests:
Students and Staff are welcome to make requests and recommendations.
