What is Battle of the Books?
Battle of the Books is a quiz bowl-style competition, open to any 4th & 5th graders, sponsored by the North Carolina School Library Media Association (NCSLMA) and held locally by Cabarrus County.
How many students can be on the team?
The Battle of the Books club is open to any 4th & 5th graders who are interested. However, the actual competing team is limited to 12 students.
When does Battle of the Books Meet?
Students will meet on Monday afternoons after school in the Media Center from 3:00 pm- 4:00 pm, starting in September.
How do students sign up?
Any student who is interested must complete a Student BOB application and have a parent complete the Parent Permission Form.
Both Forms will need to be completed.
