**NEW GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

**Students entering 9th grade in the 2026-2027 school year are now required to have Computer Science as a standalone graduation requirement.  (according to House Bill 8)

 **Students entering 9th grade in the 2025-2026 school year are now required to have 1 credit of arts education (visual art, music, theatre, dance) in grades 6-12 for high school graduation. (according to S681)
