EBOB
Elementary Battle of the Books
Welcome to Hickory Ridge Elementary Battle of the Books!
We will meet every Tuesday after school from 3-4pm beginning on Tuesday, October 8th. On October 8th, students will be tested on matching titles and authors of the EBOB books. They must score at least 80% in order to continuing attending meetings.
We can only bring 12 students to the competition. Students may have to be tested on 5 books (of their choice) in order to be on the team. Questions will include plot, setting, and characters. Students will also be tested on Author/Title matching.
Students must attend after school meetings. If a student is to be absent then they will need to send me a message in Clever to notify me of their absence. Students must be willing to continue reading books from the EBOB list even after they have made the team. Although I do not require that participants read all 15 books, the more books they read, the better our team will do in the competition.
Students must be willing to communicate and collaborate with the rest of their team. I am excited to begin!

Free access to eBooks through the Hoopla website or app. You will need to create an account with your Cabarrus County Library card. A public library card is free. Bring your adult with their drivers license to get your library card.
