Ongoing Community opportunities

  • Garden Volunteering: Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-7:30pm, Family groups and individuals are welcome to come to Annie's House to volunteer in the garden. See this link for further information http://www.handsongreenville.org/need/detail/?need_id=532215

  • Miracle Hill Foster Center: Volunteer needs of making birthday cards for foster kids with a $5 gift card in them (such as CFA). Contact Brenda Parks, director of Miracle Hill Foster Care Center, at 864-268-4357 or bparks@miraclehill.org with any questions.

  • Grace Church Foster/Adopt Resource Center: Donate gently used clothes or items to assist families and children through the process of fostering and adopting. See website for details: https://gracechurchsc.org/connect/culturallyengaged/foster-and-adopt-resource-center/

YEAR LONG OPPORTUNITIES

    • 5 Point Food Pantry - Tuesday and Thursday mornings sorting food and preparing. This happens between 9-11am and then on Thursday evening we are open to the public for service between 5:30-7pm. - Lesa Howard - 864.850.0580 x13

    • Humane Society - Donation or Volunteering: two different volunteer opportunities- full time puppy/kitten volunteer program (can earn multiple hours throughout the year) OR donating approved DIY projects or Wish List items listed on their website (hours are earned for each item that is donated). Sign-up information is on the Greenville Humane Society website.
