About me

Hello and welcome to 7th-grade ELA! I'm Lauren Taylor, and I'm thrilled about the upcoming school year. This will mark my 11th year as a teacher, and I'm proud to say it's my 7th year here at Wren Middle School.

My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, along with a recent completion of my Master's Degree in Literacy from Clemson University. I also hold certifications in Special Education and Middle Level ELA grades.

On a personal note, I reside in Powdersville with my husband, Zack, and our two wonderful children, Caleb (23) and Kamryn (20). Our family is completed by two adorable fur babies, Oscar (9) and Nessie (6), and our grand puppy, Robbie (2). My passion for reading is evident as you'll always find me curled up with my Kindle during my free time. Additionally, I enjoy exploring new places with my family, whether it's at the beach or in the mountains. And when it's football season, you can catch me enthusiastically cheering on our beloved Clemson Tigers! Go Tigers!!

I am eagerly looking forward to an exciting school year with all of you, and I simply cannot wait for all the wonderful learning experiences I'll get to have with my students!
