About me
I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Level Math and Science. I graduated and was given a job offer in South Carolina. I took the chance and move up here to teach. I have been here ever since. I have taught 8th grade Science, Algebra I, Math 8, Math 7, and 7th Grade Accelerated. I am married to my husband, Rodney and we have one beautiful little girl. I am starting my 14th year of teaching and my fourth year at Wren Middle School.
I received a Master's degree from Capella University in Curriculum and Instruction P-12 grades and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. I have taught in Pickens County and Anderson Districts 2 and 5, and Greenville County.
Fun Facts:
I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, racing, and reading.
I have read 80 books so far for 2025.
I have 12 5ks and 1 10k since July 2024.
I have 1 dog.
I have lived in 4 different states; I have traveled to about 28 states. I would like to visit all 50 states.
