About me
Welcome to eighth grade social studies where we will learn about SC and US history! This is my twenty-fifth year at Wren Middle School. Before moving to SC, I taught English and history in Florida and Kentucky. When I was your age, I didn't want to be a teacher because my mom, who was also a teacher, told me I would love it. (She was right--moms usually are.) Eventually I felt called to teach because I love people and stories--especially yours. Our past shapes the present and the future, which is why history matters. More importantly, YOU MATTER! I hope you feel that in my classroom. Please let me know if you have any questions and how I can help you be your very best.
