A micro-credential is a concise, focused learning program designed to develop specific skills or knowledge in a subject area. It validates specific competencies or expertise, often in a shorter time frame than traditional programs. These credentials provide educators in ASD1 with the opportunity to enhance their skills, stay up to date with best practices, and demonstrate their proficiency in specific areas of the implementation of digital learning.

To earn the 5-hour professional development credit, educators must meet proficient or above proficient based on the rubrics.
