Welcome!! The 2025-2026 school year will mark my 22nd year in education. I have taught 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th grades. This is my 5th year as an 8th grade social studies teacher, and I am beyond excited to get to share another year here with you! Besides my dedication to education, I am also a mom to 3. My oldest son is in his 2nd year of college, my middle son is going into 11th grade, and my youngest daughter will be joining us this year as a 8th grader.

Food: Chick-Fil-A, Sushi, (Is coffee a food??)
Books: I don't have "A" favorite book...But some that I have LOVED: The Tiger Rising, the entire Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games, Fish in a Tree, The Lightning Thief, Bridge to Terabithia, and the list goes on and on....
Movies: As an 80's girl, the movies I could (and have) watch again and again: Back to the Future, The Goonies, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. Currently loving the Marvel movies (Marvel is WAY better than DC!!)
TV: Stranger Things, The Walking Dead
Color: I like calm colors: blues, greens, purples
Hobbies: Hiking, gardening, reading, travelling, and generally spending time with my family!
Sports Team: Atlanta Braves! Baseball is really the only sport we follow...but I guess Clemson is okay--that's where I got my master's degree!
Music: My taste in music is very eclectic, but I love music that is inspirational as well as music that makes you want to move!
