Introduction

Welcome to Knit AI: Stitch Pattern Yarn (the “App”), owned and operated by Appisode LLC (“Appisode,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App and any related services. By downloading, installing, subscribing to, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

The App provides users with AI-powered knitting and crochet assistance, including:

Identifying stitches from uploaded photos.
Step-by-step pattern help and progress tracking.
Creative AI tools for generating ideas, fixing mistakes, and understanding charts.
An AI Coach to answer questions on knitting and crochet.
Tools to customize and personalize projects.

The App may also offer community features where users can share and explore knitting and crochet projects.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App.
By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You may not use the App in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Account Registration and Security

Certain features require creating an account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must notify Appisode immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Appisode will not be liable for any damages caused by your failure to secure your account.

License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Appisode grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content.
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
Use the App to create derivative commercial services.
Upload unlawful or infringing content.

User Content

Submissions

You may upload photos, patterns, charts, and text instructions into the App (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.

License to Appisode

By submitting User Content, you grant Appisode a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, process, and display your content solely for providing and improving the App.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload or share content that:

Infringes any intellectual property rights.
Contains defamatory, obscene, or harmful material.
Violates any laws or third-party rights.
Contains malware or malicious code.

Appisode reserves the right to remove any content violating these Terms.

AI Disclaimer

All stitch identifications, pattern breakdowns, corrections, and AI recommendations are machine-generated.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific project.
The App is for creative, educational, and entertainment purposes only.
You should not rely solely on AI outputs for professional-level knitting, product sales, or safety-critical uses.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features are available only through a paid subscription.
Payment will be charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.
Subscription management and auto-renewal settings are available in your device account settings.

Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or exploitative purposes.
Interfere with the App’s operation or security.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without written consent.
Upload spam, advertising, or solicitation content.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
APPISODE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND RELIABILITY OF OUTPUTS.

We do not guarantee that:

The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
AI-generated content will be accurate, reliable, or useful for your intended purposes.
Errors or issues will be corrected.

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Appisode will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Appisode’s total liability for claims arising out of your use of the App shall not exceed US $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Appisode, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) resulting from:

Your use or misuse of the App.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

Termination

Appisode may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App immediately ceases.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of California, US.

Communications

By using the App, you agree to receive electronic communications. Notices may be sent to your registered email or posted within the App.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms are the complete agreement between you and Appisode regarding the App.
Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest shall remain valid.
Waiver: Appisode’s failure to enforce a provision shall not be considered a waiver.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; Appisode may assign without restriction.

Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide may be used by Appisode without obligation or compensation.
