What is Instant Pay?

With instant pay your clients will send payments directly to your debit card that is linked to your bank account.

Manually enter your debit card information to set this up and save it for future use.

Once your invoices are processed and approved by your client, they will pay them in their software. Instant pay means that the money will be pushed to your debit card within 30 minutes of the client paying your invoice.

What is Direct Deposit?

With direct deposit or ACH your clients can send payment directly to your bank account.

Manually enter or connect to Plaid by logging into your online bank account website.

All outbound ACH transactions to any bank accounts that are new or updated will settle in 3-5 business days for the first 30 days; if no transaction happens in the first 30 days, the first transaction after 30 days will settle in 3-5 business days.

What is Printed Checks?

Paper check is the default payment method if bank credentials or debit card information has not been provided.

If you have already been paid via paper check and would like to continue getting paid that way, you will need to confirm your paper check address.

After a payment is processed a check payment may take 7-10 business days to be received.

Who do I do if emails keep going to spam?

Please add vendor-portal@appfolio.com & donotreply@appfolio.com to your email contacts.

If your email service marks our emails as spam, it might cause our system to stop sending you emails. Contact us at vendor-portal@appfolio.com if the issue persists.

Is there a mobile app?

The AppFolio Vendor Portal is a website. It is accessible through both mobile and desktop. When using your phone, it will show the mobile website. There is no app in the iOS or Android App Stores.

You can save the website link to your phone by adding a bookmark. On some phones, you can also add it as an icon to your home screen.

How do I change my email in the vendor portal?

Property management companies manage this information for their vendors. Please reach out to all of your property management clients that use AppFolio to have each of them update their records. 

Once they update your primary email address, that primary user can also add additional users to your Vendor company who can then view all the same work orders and information. To do this, log in to your Vendor Portal account and navigate to the Settings page. On this page, you’ll be able to add another user to your company.

Once logged in to your Vendor Portal account, navigate to the Settings page. On this page, you’ll be able to add another user to your company. All additional users will be able to view the same information as you.
