~1999

•  In December 1968, due to the implementation of the Nine-Year Compulsory Education Law, the Tainan municipal government established Anping Junior High School based on the urgent needs of the Anping District. Our school buildings started to be constructed.

•  In August 1984, the affiliated extension school of Anping Junior High School was set up to help students who had lost the opportunity to attend school when they were young.

• In July 1991, the Anping building, swimming pool, tennis court, playground, and drainage systems were gradually completed, giving the school a new look.

•   In September 1996, the new specialist building was completed.

2000~

•  In December 2005, after demolishing the northern wall, a tree-lined walkway and a waterfront light corridor were set up, giving the campus a completely new look.

2010~

•  Since 2010, we have been recruiting long-term international English volunteers to come to our school. We have also worked hard to obtain subsidies from the Ministry of Education to purchase windsurfing boards, sailboats, and lifeboats for the school team. We have also established AMC8 mathematics courses, LEGO robot courses, and advocated reading. All of these efforts aim to make our school more excellent.

•  In 2010, the Ministry of Education received a subsidy for the "Renovation Project of Men's and Women's Changing Rooms in the Swimming Pool," which was completed in February 2011. In the same year, we also received a subsidy for the "Swimming Pool Renovation Project."

•  In 2011, the Ministry of Education received a subsidy for the "Waterproofing and Insulation Project," which solved the problem of water leakage on rainy days and sweating in hot summer.

•  In April 2011, the construction of the surrounding walls of the school was changed to hedges, integrating culture and art into the school building.

•  In April 2014, our school participated in the "International Eco Campus" and performed well in three projects: healthy living, water resources, and school grounds, winning the Silver Award.

•  In the academic year from 2014 to 2016, the principal's management philosophy centered on making Anping Junior High School an "International Volunteer School" and a "Blue Ribbon School." To attain our vision, Anping Junior High School became a pioneer in Tainan City by introducing international English volunteers to the campus, providing international cultural courses for students in English-Mediated Instruction during class, and improving the English learning atmosphere in our school. The experimental building was demolished at the end of 2015.

•   In the academic year from 2018 to 2019, Anping Junior High School won the Tainan City Character Education Characteristic School.

• · Due to the efforts of the principal, our school received a subsidy that prompted the school to install air conditioners in the specialist building.

2020~

• In the academic year from 2021 to 2022, Principal Mr. Kuo not only strived for the renovation of the hardware, including the swimming pool, but also strengthened the soft power vision of adaptive learning to individual fulfillment and developing diverse courses in our school. Not only did we become a bilingual and international education school, but we also continued to apply for "The Ministry of Education's Digital Learning Plan," equipping the school with more than 200 tablets and designing different courses for students to learn.

• In 2022, through the "Foreign English Teacher Recruitment Project," our first foreign teacher, Joanne Agbuya Cunanan from the Philippines, created a bilingual atmosphere in the school, significantly boosting student engagement in learning English.
