APEC Schools Bacoor Junior and Senior High School students meet adventure through Field Trip on December 4th to 6th of 2024.
Field trips are often a highlight in every student’s life—offering a mix of adventure, learning, and memories outside the classroom. For the academic year 2024–2025, APEC Schools brought a fresh twist to the traditional field trip experience. Unlike the previous year (2023–2024), when students had the freedom to choose their destinations, this year’s trips were thoughtfully planned by Learning Facilitators (LFs). It was a unique and exciting shift that made the experience even more memorable. The dates of the field trip are the following: December 4, 2024 for Grades 7-8; December 5, 2024 for Grades 9-10; and December 6, 2024 for the entire senior high school students.
The journey began when Grades 7 and 8 students visited El Deposito Museum, where they dove into the rich history of the Philippines. They explored historical figures, important treaties, antique weapons, and artifacts that sparked curiosity and pride. After their museum visit, the students headed to Enchanted Kingdom, one of the country’s most beloved theme parks. Laughter and excitement filled the air as they enjoyed various rides and attractions. One of the highlights was the Agila ride, which gave students a breathtaking view of the Philippines' beauty—many of them expressing awe at “God’s creation” during the experience.
Students from Grades 9 and 10 of both the Bacoor and Las Piñas campuses embarked on an early journey to Subic Bay, filled with adventure and bonding. Along the way, students marveled at wild monkeys swinging through the forest—a rare sight for many. Their first stop was Funtastic Park, Subic, where students captured fun moments through lots of photos. The day continued with a visit to Ocean Adventure, where Bacoor students were pleasantly surprised to meet a familiar face from the previous year. A standout moment? The Sea Lion Show, where some students got splashed—leading to laughter and unforgettable memories. Before heading home, everyone enjoyed a 30-minute stop at Puregold Duty-Free, where both students and LFs took the chance to eat dinner and wind down after the long day.
Meanwhile, senior high school students had a blast at Quest Adventure Camp, where the day kicked off with a lively Zumba session. That energy fueled them through a race packed with 13 challenging activities, where they impressively secured 3rd place overall. The fun didn’t stop there—the group was split into two teams for a thrilling giant football match, with Group 2 taking the win. To cap off the day, they cooled down by swimming with students from other branches, strengthening bonds before the ride home.
This year’s field trips were more than just school outings—they were a blend of education, fun, friendship, and self-discovery. Whether exploring museums, riding roller coasters, braving obstacle courses, or watching sea lions, students returned with not just souvenirs, but stories and connections to carry with them. Indeed, the 2024–2025 field trips proved to be unforgettable adventures—reminders that learning happens everywhere, especially when shared with friends.
