Next in line was B04-9-1, and their country is Egypt. Egypt is a simple yet vast country known for its social ranking and mythology. The students pitched the idea of conversing themselves in Egypt, where they made some delicacies in their PowerPoint; the music reflects the rich history and culture of the Nile Valley with its dynamic yet diverse musical form accumulated over millennia. For the fashion, the students created the culture and beliefs by using recycled materials like newspapers for the outfit.
Next was B04-10-1, and their given country is Singapore. As part of Southeast Asia, Singapore is diverse and rich in culture and the traditional respect people give. The students aligned their ideas in representing Singapore in their presentation, wherein they gave factual evidence on the components of the UN Celebration. Their outfit’s fashion was inspired by the Merlion & Vanda flowers.
Next came B04-10-2, which would be Thailand. Thailand is known for its rich and vibrant abstract culture, and that is what 10-2 presented. This country is known as the land of smiles.
The following class sections mentioned will be from the Senior High School department, and the first in line was Taiwan, which was held by ABM-11-1. Since this country is from the eastern region of Asia, the students decided to create their ideas while retaining the concept of the rich traditions and culture from the components of the UN.
Next in line will be 11-ABM-2, and their country is South Korea. The presenters exhibited the art of South Korea by reprimanding the beauty and the art of South Korean traditions, like K-Pop (e.g., TWICE, TWS, and ILLIT) and cuisines like samgyupsal, and their fashion statement for their cultural heritage.
For 11-STEM-1, their assigned country is Mongolia. The students compiled a numerous yet brief collection of factual information on Mongolia and conducted an immersive environment for the creation of their UN. For the outfit, they used recycled materials.
In 11-STEM-2, their assigned country is China. Another country in Asia, where the culture is rich and diverse and is emulsified into a content of art, leaves outsiders bereft and reeling. And that is precisely what the class did to enunciate the art of China.
For 11-STEM-3, their country was Bhutan. The class vicariously presented the ideologies of Bhutan in their UN Celebration as cultural appreciation that amassed the eyes of the spectators. Their fashion statement was all made from recyclable materials, while retaining a steadfast appropriation of cultural heritage at the making of their clothes.
Next is 11-STEM-4, and their country is Japan. Where the famous land of manga and anime reigns, the class has decided to introduce the beauty and the everlasting art of Japanese people to showcase to the world. For fashion, the students utilized hefty recycled materials like boxes, newspapers, and fabric since Japan has a distinct characteristic in fashion.
12-ABM-1 represented the versatile and revolutionary colors of Colombia, creating the illusion of their cultural design, while retaining a recyclable piece of art. The country is known to reflect its local flavors on their food that signifies a distant yet familiar contempt on all phases of this country.
In the queue, 12-STEM-1 was inspired by the cultural heritage of Brazil, and they implemented the colors of the Brazilian flag into their PowerPoint and in their outfit’s fashion. This country is known for its famous actors, models, racing, and athletes.
Next in line is Argentina of 12-STEM-2. The students made a courageous effort, like any of the previous ones, to partake in and collaborate on this journey. The students emphasized their exhibition of presentation by presenting their facts on Argentina. The country is known for its bright, colorful festivals and delicious food. Their fashion was based on recycled materials, using old fabric and newspapers.
Last but not least, 12-STEM-3 had been delegated to Peru. This class was unique to the other sections since they had a proper flow of pre-recording requisites, a lot of factual information, and an excellent structure. The group emphasized providing resources to combat expenses and climate change. They conducted the crucial parts of cultural heritage and traditions collaboratively.
The awarding took place on November 4, 2024 (Monday). In the AM shift, B04-8-1 won the best recognition for junior high school, and B04-11 ABM-1 for senior high school.
In the PM shift, all six sections were put up against each other (2 JHS sections and 4 SHS sections), with there only being one winner from both junior and senior high school. B04-12 STEM-3 won the competition, which can be attributed to their cooperative effort and effortlessly clean presentation.
Their adviser, Sir Peter Neil James Garro, claimed he did not expect the output of their presentation to be better than he anticipated. He was shocked and proud of his children. He said that one of the best things that happened to him during the awarding ceremony was that he got to reminisce about his previous year with the same students, realizing that they had grown and developed both as students and individuals.
