APEC Bacoor’s clubs and organizations prepare for Club Culmination Day on the seventh club day.
Nearly a month after Fun Week ended, the seventh club day of the school year happened on March 8th, 2025, Saturday. Everyone at APEC Schools is falling back into their same routine of finalizing tasks for the third quarter. And, with the fourth quarter fast approaching with the end of the school year in tow, it’s all hands on deck this morning for every club, as there are several events to catch up with before we wrap up this school year, which includes the Club Culmination Day.
Following the success of Fun Week 2025, Amplify had a small celebration as a pat on the back for every one of their members for the hard work and effort they showcased as they did a service to their fellow students by providing several means of coverage for the eventful week. A while after, Amplify ended their morning by concluding the accomplishment of their Docu Film Fest entry for the Amplify Journalympics, as well as having an exclusive viewing for the other branches’ entries as well.
Over at the Visual Arts Club, they started their morning by planning out a set of activities for Club Culmination Day. The latter half of the morning was then spent by the artists preparing for their Club Culmination Day, creating coloring books, and designing and producing materials for paper crafts for students to get involved in for the activity. They also started creating artwork and various pieces to display and for students to admire. Today, the visual arts club took their visions for their plans and made them come to life, thanks to the perfect balance between creativity and thoughtfulness.
Meanwhile, the E-Games Club had a productive morning spent planning for the Club Culmination Day. Due to the club competing in the IACP intervention (an event in which E-Games members in several APEC branches can compete with one another), the club's culmination will create an overlap in activities. Today’s agenda now consists of overcoming a problem of time, as well as planning for what activity the members of the E-Games Club could generate alongside this dilemma. Members are split into two groups: one for Mobile Legends and one for Call of Duty, to not only use their strategizing skills for gameplay but also to apply them to real-life scenarios, such as these, to overcome the problems they are presented with.
Down in the Performing Arts Club, each member gathered around to discuss the upcoming Club Culmination Day, as many clubs are doing, in the first few hours of the day. Everyone had pitched in ideas for what the activity could consist of until eventually, a final plan had been laid out and was ready. After this discussion, the club proceeded to concern itself with the approaching cotillion for Grade 10 and senior high school students, including the promposal project—a collaboration between the performing arts club and Amplify. After the main agenda was fulfilled, members from each sub-club did their preparations for the club's culminating activity, having fun in the process as they mingled amongst themselves.
All the while, the members of the Debate Club had a little break from their usual agenda of healthy altercation and skill-sharpening, though that’s not to say their activity for the day didn’t have at least a bit of debating. Members of the club were assigned to create a concept and draw up designs for the debate club’s logo and ID, chatting all the while, sharing ideas, and letting their more creative sides peek through. Although a simple enough task, this activity still helped enrich their communication skills and encouraged teamwork, traits vital in the role of any debater.
In the other room, the Sports Club was present, spending their morning on campus instead of on a court to discuss their club culmination activity. The members of the club were zestful as they planned for their
wholesome contribution for the club culmination day on the 5th of April, eager to help out while testing their abilities and becoming the mentors, rather than the mentees. The young athletes were also encouraged to join the cleanup drive hosted by the student council. The members of the Sports Club might not have played any sports today, but they still demonstrated good sportsmanship and camaraderie as they chipped in ideas and made decisions for the club's culminating activity.
Even though this Saturday didn’t see much physical action, it was still a great morning full of enrichment as everyone from their clubs demonstrated their more intellectual side, contributing ideas and trading suggestions as they prepared for the events to come. Students had a chance to just enjoy each other's company and take a breather from all the academics.
