Let's say that you are a student who just graduated from high school. You start to say goodbye to your friends because you'll be parting ways at different colleges. You have hopes and dreams in your eyes, yet your mind is blank and unaware of what may potentially happen in the future. You try to go to the college you've been dreaming of going to; however, panic and nervousness start to surround you when you start thinking about the entrance exam. This is a scenario that you can potentially get when you are not educated on what to do when you get through college exams and college.
College could be exciting and adventurous, and also stressful and scary. It's a preparation for you to finally be an independent adult. You're mostly responsible for your life, but you still need to learn a little more about how your future could go. College entrance exams are only there to help the college know if you're capable of learning in their school.
The first step that you should take is to understand the exam. Strategize how you'll be able to answer the questions and familiarize the content, format, and scoring system. With this, you'll be able to imagine how the test will go when you finally start answering.
The second step is to create a study plan. A realistic study plan that can help you review each subject that you know of. The third step is to prioritize the topics that need more improvement. This way, you'll be able to internalize your weaknesses and help yourself be better. The fourth step is to create mock exams. Mock exams are a great way to help you know your strengths and weaknesses, and also make you feel what it's like when you finally start answering the actual exam. Finally, the last step is to be healthy and have plenty of sleep. This helps you study better because it allows relaxation and focus on your body.
All in all, it's okay to be nervous about college entrance exams. Just make sure that you are being consistent in reviewing and being determined. Make sure to stay healthy and safe while reviewing, and be ready for what comes next.
