Thank you for taking the time to investigate my psychology practice. If you have been thinking about seeking therapy but have hesitated, know that you are not alone. Many people are unsure about reaching out for help. Others feel like therapy is probably not for them, or that the process seems mysterious or strange. In reality, many people find considerable relief after simply making an appointment or after the first meeting. Some may not experience such immediate results but they feel hopeful and decide that it is something that may benefit them over time. There is no guaranteed result but like any change, it is a process that requires commitment and effort. My experience is that most people find therapy helpful and the first meeting often dispels any myths or inaccurate perceptions they have about it. Many people have told me that I have a welcoming style that puts people at ease. I am pragmatic and flexible, and I really work to make you a priority.
