Ms. Hoey's Magnificent 1st Grade Class

Hi! My name is Jacquelyn Hoey. I am a native to Tucson and I graduated from the University of Arizona. I am married and have one daughter.

While earning my bachelors degree, I was employed at the Vail School District. At the Vail School District I worked at Desert Willow Elementary in the Community Services Aftercare program as a lead teacher. I worked as a first grade paraprofessional and then as an inclusion paraprofessional. After I received my degree, I was a k-6 substitute teacher and then I worked as a level-four paraprofessional for the Ventana Institute, housed at Senita Valley Elementary School.

When I left Vail, I worked as a kindergarten teacher for T.U.S.D at Corbett Elementary School. I am now starting on my 10th year at The Academy of Tucson Elementary School. The 2021-2022 school year is going to be a super year!
