First Team Player

My time at Ao Tawhiti was very special.

The school creates a fantastic environment which facilitates both learning and freedom, giving students free roam to direct their studies in the direction of their future goals.

During my window at Ao Tawhiti and Christchurch United FC, the staff and coaches allowed me to find balance between high performance in football whilst staying on top of classwork.

The communication between the two was exceptional, both facilitating learning and understanding when clashes arose.

I would highly recommend both Ao Tawhiti and Christchurch United FC to any aspiring footballers who are willing to direct their own learning and thrive both on the pitch and in the classroom.

First Team Player

I attended Unlimited Discovery for four years, and I experienced many benefits both on the academic and football side.

With my schooling I was able to pass NCEA Level 3 with University Entrance while getting my core subjects like Maths and English to a good level, and at the same time the curriculum and schedule at the school also allowed me to dive deeper into my passions for Business Studies, Media, and Videography and these are all things that I do for work now which really set me up well for life after school.

Also learning about some of the topics in PE like nutrition, biomechanics, and coaching has allowed me to transfer those skills to my football training which has created a really good synergy to tie in my passion for football into my education.

On the football side being able to train in the morning and having that flexible school schedule allowed me to work on more specific and individual aspects of my game beyond just the team sessions here at the club with a team of professional coaches guiding me through the process.

So overall, the program was the perfect blend of my academic interests as well as my passion for football.

I was able to create new relationships with a group of like minded people that we still keep in touch with ‘til this day even though we may be in different parts of the world now.

If you are a player who is serious about achieving success both in your academics and football this is an ideal program.

First Team Player

U17 New Zealand Player

I spent four years at Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery, a school that supported both my academics and my football ambitions.

The school's flexible academic structure allowed me to train in the mornings without compromising my education. This arrangement enabled me to improve aspects of my game while staying on top of my academic responsibilities.

During my time at Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery, I completed NCEA levels 1, 2, and 3, earning university entrance. The school provided invaluable support, particularly in business, through initiatives such as their innovation fund.

Ao Tawhiti also accommodated my educational needs during my overseas travels for football opportunities. The flexibility ensured I could continue my studies seamlessly, even while abroad.

For anyone seeking to excel both academically and athletically, I highly recommend this program.

First Team Player

I attended Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery for five years which allowed me to utilise the schools benefits to develop myself as a player, student, and person.

Because of the schools academic structure I was able to train during the day while also keeping g ahead of my classes. This meant I could work on aspects of my game which were specific to me.

I was able to complete NCEA level 1,2, and 3 with endorsements as well as get university entrance.

So if you are a person who wants to develop as a player and as a student, this programme is for you.
