Ākonga as you prepare for your IEM or 1-1s now it's a great time with your family to plan out arotahi goals in your personalised learning pathway. When mapping out your goals you can use these ideas and templates below to help you consider how you can deepen your thinking.
Other questions to consider include, are there outside organisations you can tap into for resources, experiences, or expertise? Who can your LA help you to make contact with in our extensive resource bank of community volunteers who want to support your arotahi journey?
How can your whānau support you each week to realise your goals? What will you need to do each day to work towards your arotahi goals with your project group or independently?
Where could you set up offsite learning opportunities, for 'one-off' experiences or regularly? Can you base yourself at ARA, Art Gallery, CoCA, the University of Canterbury, Tūranaga, the Climate Action Campus, or a workplace? The list is endless and ever-growing.
When co-creating goals at IEMs or later, designing with SMART goal aspects in mind can help frame achievable next steps for an individual or group.
