STUDENT ASSISTANCE TEAM POLICY
The Georgetown Student Assistance Team (S.A.T.) consists of an administrator, classroom teachers, and other school personnel, most participating as regular members and some serving on an as-needed basis.
The team receives referrals and develops interventions to help students experience greater success in the school setting and improve the quality of their lives.
It also serves as a resource for teachers, parents, and administrators in addressing the needs of the school and the community.
In addition, the team functions as a pre-referral system to the Special Education process.
