What is the ShineOnCass Award?

The ShineOnCass Junior Service Award is presented annually to area high school JUNIORS who best emulate Cassidy’s genuine kindness, exceptional service in the community and compassion and selfless concern for others. The students selected have demonstrated extraordinary service, going above and beyond completion of service- hour requirements.

How are students nominated?

All students in the Junior Class are eligible to receive the award. Candidates may be nominated by a parent, teacher, community organization or students can apply themselves!

How are recipients recognized?

“ShineOnCass” recipients will receive a monetary gift from the ShineOnCass Foundation to be used at their discretion to extend kindness and service to others. Recipients will be asked to share how they chose to Shine Cassidy’s Light with the Charette family, and agree to share their photos and story with the ShineOnCass Foundation.
