My Family - My World
My husband and I live in Sidney, Maine, and have two daughters. Katherine is 27 and lives in New York City, and Elizabeth is 26 and lives in Bath. My husband and I enjoy hiking with our dog and biking, as well as spending time with family and friends. During the summer, my absolute FAVORITE activity is reading by the pool or under the gazebo. I can never get enough to read!

After taking some time off from teaching to raise our children, I went back to work full-time in 2008 at the Messalonskee School District. I taught there until coming to Winslow Elementary in the fall of 2018. This is my seventh year here at WES, and I love it! Fun fact...I'm also a Winslow High School graduate!

This will be a year full of challenges, but it will also be a year of tremendous growth, great books, and great discussion. I'm looking forward to getting to know each and every one of my students. Kudos to kicking off the start of an AWESOME year!

Aside from our girls, we also have six fur-babies! Miyah is a lab-mastiff mix who is 90 pounds and thirteen years old, and we also have five cats - Bentley, almost eleven years old, sisters Ellie and Lacie, who are nine, and brothers Jax and Jasper, who are five (and by far the biggest). We love all our babies!!!!!
