Good Afternoon and welcome to the month of May!  We have a very full month as school as things get busy for all of us at WES!

We will be making orange and white (tie dye) shirts to wear on one of our field trips and for our field day. I need one new, white t-shirt for each child before May 10th.  If you would please pick one up for your child and send it in, I would appreciate it. If you are willing to buy a package and send in the extras for a child that can’t afford one, that would be great!! The shirt needs to be washed and dried before bringing it to school. Thank you!!   With a classroom full of children, it is going to be tough to do make-ups for the scheduling that has been done for end of the year testing.  We will do our best.

As testing goes it is very important that children come to school on time and stay for the entire day unless of course they are sick.  Breakfast is always important and so is a good night’s sleep.  Encourage your child to do their best, that is all that anyone can ask of them!  It is a rigorous month and we will all work hard together to do our best.  School is winding down and the last stretch of assessment is here!
