September newsletter:

We have been practicing classroom rules and routines for the first couple of weeks. These include morning routine, bathroom expectations, and many more. Students are in the process of taking a math and reading diagnostic assessment on Chromebooks. They will soon be able to work on individual lessons based on their diagnostic performance. Our first math unit is all about place value and will begin next week. The writing topic for the first trimester is small moment narratives. We will begin the year with social studies, learning about maps and globes.
