Temple University, Japan Campus is an international campus of one of the US’ largest universities - Temple University in Philadelphia. Founded in 1982, TUJ is officially recognized by MEXT and offers American degrees in Tokyo. Students receive the same credits, degrees and transcripts as students at the main campus. All classes are taught in English and no Japanese is required. Small classes of around 20 students encourage student participation and allow individualized attention. Internships and independent research provide plenty of hands-on experience. Students have opportunities to undertake internships, and TUJ graduates have succeeded in careers with many of the world's leading corporations, ngo’s and non-profits.
