This year’s theme, “Seaweed in Action”, reflects a step-change for our industry, from emerging potential to real stories and projects now standing up and delivering.
This is a day that brings our community together again, from across Aotearoa and the Pacific, to hear the latest scale-up stories and commercial breakthroughs, present global market insights, address policy and regulatory updates and hear about the latest science. The 2026 agenda is exciting:
Get updates on live seaweed projects - in the ocean and on land
Learn about restorative projects now live - attracting investment, supporting new iwi and Māori driven regional enterprise
Multiple species will be discussed, each with unique potential
Latest research with real-world applications
Lessons-learned from other New Zealand industries
