Aʻo ʻia ma Ānuenue (Taught in school at Ānuenue)

Ma ka Hawaiʻi (taught in Hawaiian)

Aʻo me kāu papa ponoʻī (you learn with your homeroom class)

Koho ke kula i nā papa (classes chosen by us)

Free.  Funded largely by the Hawai‘i State Legislature.  (School pays a small portion.)

Part of the school's curriculum.  We select classes that complement our in-school curriculum.  All students required to participate.

Aʻo ʻia ma ke kula kaiaulu a i ʻole ma ka punaewele (taught at a CC or online)

Ma ka Pelekania (taught in English)

Aʻo hoʻokahi (you take the class on your own)

Koho ʻoe i kāu papa (you choose the class.)

Students use their KS scholarship, Running Start Scholarship or pay for the course themselves.

Students choose extra classes to work towards a Community College certificate, get a jump start on college requirements or take other courses that interest them.
