Meet Your Counselor!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Moyer and I am the School Counselor at Antlers High School. I am a 2003 graduate of Antlers High School and I graduated with my Bachelors in Chemistry Education in 2007 from Northeastern State University. A few years later, I decided to return to school and work on my Masters of Education in School Counseling. I graduated with my Masters from East Central University in 2015.
my philosophy:
I believe in the power of education but more importantly I believe in my students and their potential to achieve whatever goals they set for themselves. I hope to be someone who can help our students achieve their personal goals during and after high school, whether it be helping with applications, providing resources for scholarships or jobs, or just simply being a sounding board for students as they plan and process their goals and how they want to achieve them. I am an advocate for students to further their education whether that means college, on-the-job training, technical school, military, trade school, or straight to work.
