The AUSB Writing Center

The Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB) Writing Center provides free writing support, through one-on-one sessions with peer tutors. Talk to a tutor about your writing at any stage, including brainstorming! In the Writing Center, you’ll find no judgment, no grades, no shame — just positive encouragement and helpful support. The Writing Center is not an editing service, but is here to teach you strategies that will help you grow as a writer and develop your writing repertoire (skills, habits, and techniques) over time. This Winter they are continuing to offer all tutoring sessions remotely via Zoom. 

Writing Center Online Booking Portal for Zoom Writing Support: 

• Students can use the Writing Center Online portal for live, one-to-one writing support conversations!  They offer writing conversations throughout the week, beginning as early as 7 am Pacific/10 am Eastern. Log in for the most up-to-date schedule. Students will create an account the first time they log in, then they can book their own appointments. 

• Students can book with tutors from across all campuses. They will see SB next to our Santa Barbara tutors.
