AUSB traditionally holds commencement activities for all academic programs every year. Commencement and Graduation are separate events.
Graduation is the official act of conferring a degree earned by a student when all degree requirements have been met. Commencement is a ceremonial event where graduates, along with students expected to graduate soon, are recognized and celebrated by peers, faculty, and guests.Â
Participation in commencement activities is optional. In order to walk in the Commencement Ceremony, students need to have recently graduated, be on track to graduate during the current academic year, and/or be granted special permission to walk early.
MACP Criteria: All students graduating by Summer 2026, including the Fall 2024 Cohort, are eligible to walk in the 2026 Commencement Ceremony. Students can also choose to walk once they are completely done with their program.
BA Criteria: All students who will have completed their degree from Fall 2025 through Fall 2026 are eligible to walk in the 2026 commencement ceremony.
PsyD: Please contact Stephanie Holland, Senior Administrative Director, at sholland@antioch.edu to confirm eligibility prior to applying for commencement.
