Post high school education may consist of a 2-year college, a 4-year college, a technical or trade school.

Enlisting in a branch of the armed forces is a post-high school option. Branches of the military include: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy and, most recently, Space Force.

Students may choose to join the workforce directly after high school by working in an area such as retail or labor.
